Apologies to those who got their hopes up thinking I was going to be recreating a look from the famous rock band known for their luscious hair. Oh and they sometimes wore makeup too. Instead I'm referring to the acronym.. Keep It Simple Stupid. [And yes I always picture Dwight Schrute parroting Michael Scott when I say that.] Even though I just preached making yourself happy with whatever duds are putting that twinkle in your eye on any given day, at times I find myself struggling with my attire. Personally, I gravitate towards sleek basics with one snazzy accent. My theory is that it's harder to look like a train wreck if you have a simple palette going on. Of course, I've proven myself wrong on more than one occasion with that mentality.. I also end up exponentially happier when the majority of my clothing and accessories are Mama Nature approved, meaning thrifted and/or vintage of course. Green is the new black, in case you hadn't heard.

Also.. as you read this, I will be Madison bound for a couple meetings, hopefully some real life friend sightings and a plane trip. I'm off to Montreal to visit this feisty little nugget as a belated bday to her [you wished her happy birthday on Monday right? RIGHT??] and an early one for me. Don't worry, it's not til monday so you still have time to buy my present. A word to the wise.. I prefer my golden ponies medium to pale gold. None of that bronze bullshit.
