..or down, rather if we are being technical. That's right kids, I'm relocating to the Windy City! If you knew how crazy I've been driving myself with this decision, you'd be kicking back with a beer and finally enjoying some relaxed breathing and absence of the anxious shakes with me. I was going to list the reasons it won out over the other options, but it feels as if I'm making excuses, and I need to kick that mindset. I was making this choice a life or death matter which is just as ridiculous as it sounds. I think I'll really enjoy Chicago for at least a year.. ask me again once the cold kiss of death sets in. So now I just need to find an apt, pack up all my crap, toss the cats in the car, drive my life's possessions to Chitown, unpack and set up shop! Anyone else already tired? So if you live in or around Chicago, you're welcome for me blessing the city with my presence. JOKES. But keep your calendars open since I do plan on having an internet friend/family apartment warming part-a.

I had a feeling it wasn't going to be SF. That's cool. We'll chat in February when you are freezing your fine ass off, and it's still in the 50's here. :)

Great decision! I currently live just outside of the city, but may be moving to Minneapolis/St. Paul at the end of June. Waiting to hear some news....either way, enjoy!
Holy balls! merl made a decision. I mean, it's the wrong one, there is a border here that is asking you to cross it but I can respect your decision. Have fun getting it all together... Your presence has upped Chicago as a next destination for me.
